A training course on the state administration on religion for key officials in Ha Giang province was held on July 10 - 12.
The event was organized by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the provincial authorities and attended by 148 participants who are officials tasked with religious affairs from concerning provincial departments, and agencies and security force and heads of the People’s Committee in communes having large numbers of religious residents in the locality.
The three-day training course covered topics on the State’s policies and laws on religion, the Law on Belief and Religion, the Decree 162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new laws, state administration on Buddhism, Protestantism, Catholicism in particular, and policies responding new religious phenomenon in Vietnam.
In addition, the organizing board organized a study tour for the training participants at two religious establishments in the city.
