The coordinating program’s main contents included incorporation of activities on environmental protection and climate change adaptation into the annual working plan of religious organizations; raising awareness and capacity for environmental protection and climate change adaptation amongst religious communities; development of pilot models on environmental protection and climate change response by religious organizations; and expansion of successful models amongst religious communities.

Addressing at the conference, Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Nông Thị Lâm expressed her hope that local religious organizations would continue encouraging their followers to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, reduce activities and lifestyle causing the environmental pollution, and create “green, clean, beautiful” religious worshipping places and residential areas.
