Binh Thuan provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and religious organizations signed a coordinating program for environmental protection and climate change adaptation at a meeting held on November 14.
The coordinating program’s main contents included enhancing knowledge on environmental protection and climate change response for religious establishments and residential areas; organizing training on self-help skills in case of storm, flood and drought; building and expanding successful models for environmental protection and climate change response amongst religious communities; as well as monitoring State’s departments and agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals in implementing legal provisions relating to environmental protection and climate change adaptation.
