Quang Ngai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on September 9 a conference for disseminating policies and laws on belief and religion to Caodai dignitaries and deacons in the locality.
The event saw participation of Chairman of Quang Ngai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Vĩnh lạc, and about 220 dignitaries, deacons representing four Caodai sects in the province.
During the one-day conference, Chairman Nguyễn Vĩnh Lạc briefed contents of State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, including Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Decree No.92/2012/NĐ-CP dated 11/8/2012 of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Circular No. 01/2013/TT-BNV dated 25/03/2013 of the Ministry of Home Affairs issuing and guiding forms of State administrative procedure in the field of belief and religion and the Circular No.01/2013/TT-BNV dated March 25th, 2013 of Ministry of Home Affairs on issuing and guiding the use of forms of administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion.
Currently Quang Ngai province is home to 11,000 followers of Caodaism, with 26 worshipping places, belonging to four Caodai sects of the Caodai Correction-Path Church, the Missionary Caodai Church, the Tay Ninh Caodai Church, and the Cau Kho Tam Quan Cao Dai Church./.
