On February 16 – 17, a delegation of Quang Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs led by Chairman Đậu Đình Minh paid visits to religious organizations and dignitaries in the province’s Bo Trach district.
The delegation visited Catholic parishes of Ha Loi, Gia Hung and Yen Giang, and Buddhist pagodas of Thanh Quan and Quan Am in the locality.
During the visiting receptions, Chairman Đậu Đình Minh had exchanges with the hosts to learn about the Lunar New Year celebrations by local religious dignitaries and followers. He also spoke highly of practical contributions by Catholics and Buddhists to socio-economic development and maintenance of public security in Quang Binh province in general and Bo Trach district in particular over the past years, as well as urged religious dignitaries and followers in the district to further promote fine traditions for unity and a better secular and religious life.
