Da Nang city Committee for Religious Affairs held on April 24 an exchange meeting with Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers.
The meeting took place on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday Festival 2017 and the 5th congress of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Chapter in the city for the 2017-2022 term.
During the meeting, the representative leader from the city Committee for Religious Affairs extended best wishes to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers in the city on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday Festival 2017, as well as asked local Buddhists dignitaries to continue encouraging and guiding followers to actively engage in social and charitable activities, contributing to socio-economic development in the city.
