The state administration on religion in the central province of Quang Binh has been reviewed and discussed at a meeting held on January 10 in Dong Hoi city.
The meeting held by Quang Binh provincial Department of Home Affairs was presided over by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Hoài and attended large numbers of concerning provincial departments and agencies and representatives of the home affairs office from the province’s districts.
The meeting report on religious affairs in the province over the past year highlighted results of the state governance on religion in the locality, which include the approval of local authorities for the establishment of grassroots organizations under Vinh Diocese and the district-level management board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’ chapter in Bo Trach district, and the construction of churches by Tam Toa parish and Catholic communities of Thanh Lang, Lac Thuy and Ha Bong.
