Tam Buu Temple, a holy site of the religious organization of Four Debts of Gratitude in An Giang province’s Tri Ton district solemnly held on November 1 the ground-breaking ceremony for its reconstruction.
Attending the event included Vice Chairman of the Representative Committee of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Faith (Four Debts of Gratitude) Ngô Văn Thiền and Nguyễn Ngọc Trác, Deputy Director of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA)’s Department for Southern Affairs Trà Ngọc Thanh and local authorities’ representatives.
According to Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Trác, Tam Buu Pagoda was built in 1882 and has been degraded after 134 years of existence, and the Representative Committee was approved by local authorities to kick off the reconstruction of Tam Buu Pagoda.
The reconstruction of the temple will include the main worshipping building, headquarters of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Faith’s Representative Committee, preaching hall and a guesthouse.
