Quang Ninh provincial Public Security held a meeting on June 22 to honor typical Catholic dignitaries and followers for their contributions to social security in the province.
As reported at the meeting, Catholic dignitaries and followers in the province proactively joint efforts for preventing crimes and combating criminals over the past two years. Many practical models, such as “self-secured Catholic parish” and “building advanced parish”, have been developed, effectively and creatively contributing to maintenance of public security and social stability in the province.
On this occasion, the provincial Public Security presented certificates of merit to 17 priests, dignitaries, deacons and Catholic followers for their outstanding contributions in ensuring social security in the period of 2016-2017.
