A working group led by Vice Chairman of the Central Highland Steering Committee H’Ngăm Niê K’dăm had a meeting with Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee to review ten-year implementation of Directive 01/2005/CT-TTg on some tasks regarding Protestantism on May 19.
Attending the meeting were Director of the Home Affairs Department Trần Văn Thanh and representatives from related local agencies and departments.
It’s reported at the meeting that the implementation of the directive in ten years has brought positive changes to the understanding of Protestantism and tasks regarding Protestantism by party members, officials and local people.
Religious activities of Protestant followers have gradually been guaranteed. Most of religious dignitaries and followers have well observed religious charters, policies and laws of the State on religion in general and on Protestantism in particularly.
During the meeting, delegates also made further discussion on religious activities in Protestant chapters and meeting groups in the locality and registration of Protestant meeting groups…
