Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Võ Thanh Quang, representatives of provincial People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and about 50 dignitaries and deacons from four religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Caodaism and Protestantism in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Võ Thanh Quang briefed results of the socio-economic development in province 2015 and key tasks set for 2016. He also acknowledged important contributions of religious dignitaries to the socio-economic development in the locality and took the chance to extend traditional New Year wishes to religious dignitaries.

During the meeting, religious dignitaries suggested local authorities to address social issues such as training local officials, solving the employment problem for graduated students, improving the quality of healthcare facilities. They also took the chance to thank the local authorities for its attention and support extended to local religious organization over the past years.
