Quang Nam province: Religious committee holds exchange meeting with VBS Executive Committee

On November 27, Chairman of Quang Nam provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Phan Thọ led a delegation to visit and exchange with the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee at its office located in Dao Nguyen pagoda in Tam Ky city.
Attending the meeting also included representatives of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Religious Committee and Public Security Department.
During the event, local Buddhist dignitaries shared with provincial authorities’ achievements and difficulties in Buddhist affairs 2015, including remaining issues on religious land, re-establishment of some worshipping places, and transfer and appointment of Buddhist dignitaries.
