On November 10, Quang Binh provincial Public Security held a meeting on promotion of good models for ensuring public security and order in Catholic communities in the locality.
Attending the meeting were representatives from Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee and local authorities.
During the meeting, delegates exchanged and shared experiences on developing good models for promoting social security and public security in the Catholic communities
One of typical models has been implemented in Phuc Trach commune. The commune is one of the highest Catholic-concentrated localities in Bo Trach district with more than 12,000 Catholics, accounting for over 90% of the commune's total population. Over the years, the model of "peaceful parish, harmonious family" implemented in Phuc Trach commune has brought important changes to social security and public order in the commune as well as encouraged Catholic followers to make practical contributions to economic-socio development in the locality.
On this occasion, collectives and individuals received certificates of merit for their outstanding achievements in expanding the model of “peaceful Catholic commune parish and harmonious family” in Catholic communities.
