Propaganda on Southern land history for Buddhist dignitaries and key people from Khmer community held in Tra Vinh

On November 17, the Tra Vinh provincial Party Committee in collaboration with the Southwest Steering Committee held a propaganda conference on the history of Vietnam Southern land for key Khmer people in Tra Vinh province.
The event saw the attendance of over 300 participants who are religious dignitaries and prestigious people from Khmer ethnic people in the province.
During the conference, Ph.D., Historian Nguyễn Khắc Thuần delivered core presentations on the history of Vietnam Southern land as well as socio-economic development targets in the Mekong river delta for the period 2016-2020.
The propaganda conference aimed at enhancing understanding on the history of Vietnam Southern land and promote religious and ethnic leaders’ role in socio-economic development of the country.
