Attending the conference were Major. Gen. At the conference, on behalf of the provincial Steering Committee 138, Lt. General Trịnh Xuyên presented a final report to review 20 years implementing Directive No.11 in the province.

In the past 20 years (1914 - 2014) under the leadership and guidance of party committees and authorities, the propaganda and mobilization of Catholics well contributed to the implementation of the great national unity policy, and encouraged Catholics to actively participate in protection  of security and order and socio - economic development in the province. The promotion of the role of religious dignitaries, deacons and prestigious people in the Catholic localities in protection of political security and social order has effectively been enhanced

Speaking at the conference, Major. Gen. Tô Lâm highly valued efforts of local authorities and the municipal Security Public in protecting security and order in the locality in general and in Catholic localities in particular.

He also highly praised positive contributions by religious dignitaries, deacons and prestigious people in Catholic localities in Thanh Hoa province in implementing Directive No. 11.

Mr. Trịnh Văn Chiên, Chairman of People’s Committee presents certificates to 7 collectives and 12 individuals for excellent achievements during 20 years implementing Directive No. 11

At the conference, collectives and individuals received the certificate of Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and Head of the municipal Security Public for excellent achievements in 20 years implementing Directive No. 11 of the Ministry of Public Security on "Promoting mass movements to protect the national security in the Catholic localities in the new situation”.

On this occasion, Major. Gen Tô Lâm and Mr. Mai Văn Ninh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate Bishop Nguyễn Chí Linh on 10-year anniversary of his ordainment as the Auxiliary Bishop of Thanh Hoa diocese. After the conference, Major. Gen. Tô Lâm and his delegation visited Thanh Hoa diocese./.
