About 140 orphans living inside Tu An Pagoda located in the province’s Tan Thanh district received gifts on June 1, on the occasion of the Children's Day 2017.
The charity program was sponsored by staffers from the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam in Vung Tau city’s Phu My Branch and BIDV Vung Tau Insurance Company’s Phu My Sales Department.
During the event, 10 boxes of milk, candies, clothes, cooking oil, cereal, instant noodles and cash worth over VND 35 million in total were handed over to the pagoda, which currently run by Nun Thích nữ Minh Hải.
