A delegation led by Politburo Member Trương Thị Mai extended a visit on March 12 to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Chapter in Lam Dong province.
Joining the delegation included representatives of Lam Dong provincial government and Da Lat city’s authorities.
Speaking during the visit, Mrs. Trương Thị Mai, who is also head the PCC’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, urged the VBS executive committee in Lam Dong province to promote fine traditions for unity and socio-economic development in the locality.
Welcoming the delegation, Most Venerable member of the VBS central Executive Council cum chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Lam Dong province Thích Toàn Đức exchanged with the guests Buddhist affairs in the locality over the past years. The Buddhist Venerable also took the chance to thank state authorities for creating favorable conditions for Buddhist affairs and social, religious activities of Buddhists in the province.
