The event, also attended by General Trần Đại Quang, Minister of Public Security and Head of the Steering Committee for the Central Highlands, was designed to honor important contributions by minority and religious people to the socio-economic development in the locality.

Addressing the meeting, the Party official expressed his hope that the event would leave good impression on ethnic and religious communities.

He also urged minorities and religious dignitaries to further uphold their sense of responsibility and patriotism to well implement dissemination work, mobilize locals to build new rural areas, and improve production, contributing to hunger elimination and poverty reduction, as well as the region's political stability and sustainable development.
