The visiting Catholic youth have been praised by the Youth Union in Nghe An province as typical youth for their outstanding contributions and achievements in youth activities and social programs for socio-economic development and social cohesion in the locality.

During the visiting reception, Catholic youth reflected difficulties in activities for youth in general and young Catholics in particular, as well as shared their past experiences of youth affairs in the locality.

As reported at the reception meeting, so far, the youth union in Nghe An have proactively implemented many practical programs for children and youth at residential areas with large numbers of Catholic followers in the province, including the construction of 19 sport-playing grounds and organization of cultural activities and exchanges during Christmas festivals, etc.

Speaking at the reception, while praising contributions of Catholic youth in the province, Youth Union Secretary Nguyễn Long Hải asked the honored young Catholics to further promote their role in voluntary works for community development in the locality./.
