Ninh Thuan provincial VBS records good results of social-charitable activities in six months 2015

Ninh Thuan provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee held a conference on July 2 to review Buddhist affairs and social activities in the first six months of 2015.
Regarding social activities for the past six months 2015, Ninh Thuan provincial VBS’ Social Charity Board has conducted charitable activities with a total value of over two billion VND. These charities included the construction of six charitable houses for poor people in districts of Thuan Bac, Thuan Nam, Ninh Hai, Ninh Son and Bac Ai, and 10 wells in Phuoc Chien commune for provision of clean water to local people; supports for 107 eye surgeries for blind people, and presentation of five wheelchairs to people with disabilities…
On this occasion, Ninh Thuan provincial authorities presented a certificate of merit to three individuals and two organizations of the provincial VBS for their outstanding contributions to charity activities in the locality.
