Ninh Binh province reviews five years implementing movement ensuring security in religious communities (2010 - 2015)

On October, 28, Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee held a meeting to review five years implementing the movement for ensuring public security and order in Catholic and Buddhist communities in the locality in the 2010 – 2015 period.

Attending the meeting included Lieutenant General Deputy Minister of Public Security Bùi Văn Nam, Vice President of the Central Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Mai Văn Ninh, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Bùi Thị Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Thị Thanh and a large number of religious dignitaries in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Deputy Minister of Public Security Bùi Văn Nam highly praised the movement’s achievements. He also called on religious dignitaries, deacons and followers to actively join in the movements for hunger eradication, poverty reduction and education promotion, contributing to build the prosperous country of Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security, the Central Committee Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement during the past five years.
