Nghe An provincial authorities extend congratulation to Vinh Diocese on occasion of priesthood ordination and hosting of youth festival

Vice Chairman of Nghe An provincial People’s Committee Lê Xuân Đại led a delegation to visit the Cathedral of Vinh Diocese on November 13, on occasion of the diocese’ ordination of new priests and hosting of Youth Festival.
During the visit reception, Vice Chairman Lê Xuân Đại presented congratulatory flowers to Vinh diocese Cathedral and extended best wishes to Catholic dignitaries and followers in the diocese on the occasion of ordaining 38 new priests and hosting of Hanoi Archdiocese’s 14th Youth Festival. The provincial leader also called on local Catholics to make further contributions to socio-economic development in the locality.
While welcoming the guests, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese Nguyễn Văn Viên took the chance to thank Nghe An provincial authorities for their favorable conditions extended to practices of Catholicism in the province over the past years.
