During the event, meeting participants raised comments on specific issues, such as the need to include provisions for prohibition and prosecution of religious pretenders, legal sanctions for violations of law on belief and religion, and supervision of financial management by religious establishments.

Concluding at the conference, Deputy Tôn Thị Ngọc Hạnh pledged to submit commented proposals to the National Assembly XIII for consideration.

Currently, the 5^th draft of the proposed law on belief and religion has been completed, containing 71 articles divided into 12 chapters. It will be submitted to the National Assembly for the first consideration on November 6, 2015, and approval of this law is expected to be decided in October, 2016.
