A delegation led by Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children Phan Thanh Bình paid a working visit to Dong Nai province on March 7-8 to check the implementation of the Party’s Resolution 25 on religious affairs in the locality.
During the visit, the delegation visited Xuan Loc diocese, Xuan Loc Saint Joseph Major Seminary and Nhan Ai Elderly center run by the Daughters of Our Lady of Compassion in Long Khanh town.
Speaking during the visit, Chairman Phan Thanh Bình praised practical contributions made by Catholic followers to the socio-economic development in the locality. He also expressed his hope that Catholic dignitaries would continue encouraging followers to actively take part in social movements for community development in the locality.
