On March 12, National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân led a delegation to offer incense and plant a memorial tree at Linh Quang pagoda – headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Chapter in Dien Bien province on the occasion of her working visit to the province.
Welcoming the delegation included Venerable General Secretary of the VBS Executive Council, Chairman of the VBS Chapter in Dien Bien province Thích Đức Thiện.
At the welcoming reception, Venerable Thích Đức Thiện exchanged with the guests on Buddhist affairs in the locality over the past years, as well as the 2nd Buddhist congress of the VBS Chapter in Dien Bien to be organized on March 17 – 19.
