The Mother Goddess Worship in Da Nang city was annually held on the 22 of the second lunar month every year and often with a small scale.
The festival this year took place with large scales from March 28 to 30 (the 20-22 of the second lunar month) and included two parts: worshipping rites, such as procession ceremony, making of offerings, Hau dong ritual and releasing flower lanterns ceremony and festive activities which include displaying dresses of Mother Goddess worship, Chau van singing, and display of Mother Goddess worshipping photos and artifacts in Vietnam Central.

Representatives of the city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Committee for Religious Affairs, Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Public Security were amongst the festival participants.
