An March 12, a delegation from Quang Binh provincial government had a meeting with the province’s Bo Trach district’s authorities on the implementation of the Party’s Resolution 25 on religious affairs.
As reported at the meeting, over the past 15 year, the implementation of Resolution 25 dated March 12 2003 of the Party’s Central Committee on religious affairs contributed to better ensure freedom of religion in the locality and meet legitimate needs of religious followers and organizations in the district.
Religious followers in Bo Trach district are mainly Catholics and Buddhists, and the district is home to over 27,000 followers of Catholicism with 8 parishes, 19 communities and 27 worshipping places in 14 out of total 16 communes in the district.
