On February 28, Ben Cat town People’s Committee held a meeting with local religious dignitaries.
Attending the meeting were Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Đức Thịnh and nearly 50 religious dignitaries representing religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Pure-Land Buddhist Association in the town.
During the meeting, the provincial Military Command’s representatives shared with the meeting participants the Vietnam’s Northern border war in February, 1979, world issues and the East Sea. The local authorities also informed current socio-economic development, security, defense in the locality.
