Vice Secretary of Lam Dong provincial Party Committee Hoàng Sĩ Sơn and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Đoàn Văn Việt led a delegation to visit and extend wishes to Cardinal Pierre Nguyễn Văn Nhơn, Archbishop of Hanoi Archdiocese (former Bishop of Da Lat diocese) on being newly ordained as Cardinal by the Pope.
At the reception, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Đoàn Văn Việt highly valued contributions by dignitaries and Catholics in Lam Dong province over the past years, especially efforts by Cardinal Pierre Nguyễn Văn Nhơn during his time as Bishop of Da Lat diocese. He expressed his hope that in the new position, the Cardinal would make further practical contributions to build a strong and prosperous country of Vietnam
