On September 18, the Lam Dong provincial Department of Home Affairs held a workshop for dissemination of the religious policy to religious dignitaries, deacons and religious in the locality.
Mr. Đường Anh Ngữ, Vice-Chairman of the Lam Dong provincial Vietnam Fatherland Committee; Mr. Ngô Văn Đức, Vice-Chairman of the provincial Department of Home Affairs, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and representatives from departments of Home Affairs and Justice attended the workshop.
Participants from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) included Venerable Thích Thanh Tân and Venerable Thích Viên Như, Deputy Head of the Executive Board of Lam Dong provincial VBS, monks, nuns and abbots of monasteries in Da Lat city.
At the workshops, participants learnt about the contents of the Constitution 2013 Land Law and Decree 92 detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion.
At the workshop, Mr. Ngô Văn Đức, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs answered many questions raised by participants regarding administrative forms and procedures, religious activities.
It’s reported that the Department of Home Affairs will continue to hold dissemination workshops in districts and towns in the coming time.
