A meeting with local Catholic and Protestant dignitaries was held in Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province on Dec. 15 on occasion of Christmas 2014 and 70th anniversary of People's Army of Vietnam.
The event was organized by Duc Trong district Committee's Military Commission and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and attended by over 100 dignitaries in the locality.
Attending the meeting were Colonel Dương Ngọc Hiệp, the provincial Committee's Military Commission, Mr. Đường Anh Ngữ, Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Ngô Văn Đức, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities’ representatives.
During the meeting, religious dignitaries discussed the implementation of tasks of socio-economic development, security and defense of the district in 2014 and key tasks in 2015; roles of dignitaries, deacons and followers in socio-economic development and security of the locality.
