Kon Tum provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held a meeting with religious dignitaries on January 07.
Attending the meeting included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Văn Long and over 200 key religious dignitaries and clergymen, clergywomen of religious organizations in the locality.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Phạm Văn Long highly valued contributions made by religious dignitaries, deacons and followers to socio-economic development in the province over the past years. He also praised religious followers for their active participation in patriotic emulation movements, contributing to ensure public security and social order in the province.
Kum Tum province is home to more than 200,000 religious followers, belonging mainly to four religions of Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism and Caodaism, accounting for over 27% of the provincial population.
