Deputy Secretary of Kon Tum provincial Party Committee Y Mửi led a delegation to visit several Buddhist worshipping places in the province on May 16 on occasion of the Buddha Birthday 2019 (B.E. 2563).
The delegation visited and met with Most Venerable Thích Quảng Xả, Vice President of the VBS Executive Council cum Chairman of the VBS Executive Committee in the province; Most Venerable Thích Chánh Quang, Member of the VBS Discernment Council cum Abbot of Bac Ai pagoda; and Nun Thích nữ Diệu Liên, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee cum Head of the nun affairs board and Abbess of Ngoc Hoa monastery.

During the visiting receptions, while extending the successful organization of the 16th UN Day of Vesak hosted by the VBS and happy celebrations of the Buddha’s Birthday to the provincial VBS, Deputy Secretary Y Mửi hailed practical contributions made by the provincial VBS Executive Committee to the social development in the locality over recent years.
