Attending the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hoàng Oanh, representatives of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee and the VBS Executive Board of the provincial city and districts, and about 150 Buddhist dignitaries of Mahayana and Mendicant schools.

During the one-day conference, the participants listened to overview of the religious characteristics in Vietnam, religious situation in the province, and State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, including Decree No.92/2012/NĐ-CP dated 8/11/2012 of Government detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, and Circular No.01/2013/TT-BNV dated 18/5/2015 issuing forms of administrative procedures on belief and religion.
