On Sept. 25, Kien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held a conference for disseminating religious policies and laws to local religious personnel of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) and the Pure Land Buddhist Association.
Attending the conference included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hoàng Oanh and about 150 dignitaries, deacons from the two religions in the locality.
At the disseminating conference, the local dignitaries and deacons learnt about State’s policies and laws on belief and religion, Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Decree No. 92/2012/2013/NĐ-CP dated 8/11/2012 of Government detailing and providing measures for the implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Circular No. 01/2013/TT-BNV dated 18/5/2015 issuing forms of administrative procedures on belief and religion, Decision 14/2015/QĐ-UBND dated 18/05/2015 of the provincial People's Committee on competence of State administrative agencies in the management on religious activities in Kien Giang province.

The event aimed to provide local religious dignitaries and deacons with further knowledge on local religious situation and the Party’s policies and State’s laws on belief and religion in the new period.
