On Sept. 22, Kien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held a conference for disseminating religious laws to Caodai dignitaries and deacons in the locality.
Attending the conference included Chairman of Kien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Hoàng Oanh and about 150 dignitaries, deacons from Caodai sects in the locality.
The one-day conference aimed to enhance amongst Caodai dignitaries and deacons knowledge of religions and religious laws and regulations in Vietnam in general and in Kieu Giang province in particular. During the conference, participants learnt about basic contents of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Decree No.92/2012/NĐ-CP dated 11/8/2012 of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Circular No.01/2013/TT-BNV dated 25/03/2013 of the Home Affairs Ministry.
