The provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee visited the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee at Pho pagoda in Hung Yen city on May 19 on occasion of Buddha’s Birthday festival 2015.
The delegation was led by Chairman of the provincial VFF Committee Phạm Ngọc Huy and joint by Vice Chairman of the Committee Bùi Văn Nho.
Venerable Thích Thanh Hiện, Member of the Central VBS Executive Council cum Chairman of Hung Yen provincial VBS Executive Committee and Buddhist dignitaries of the provincial VBS Executive Committee welcomed the delegation.
During the reception, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Phạm Ngọc Huy extended congratulation to dignitaries and followers in the locality on occasion of Vesak festival 2015 – B.E 2559.
He also pledged to create favorable conditions for provincial VBS Executive Committee to solemnly and successfully hold upcoming Vesak celebrations.
