Hue city’s VFF visits ad presents Mid-Autumn gifts to children at religious sponsoring centers

On occasion of the traditional Mid-Autumn festival, a delegation of Hue city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee visited several religious social sponsoring centers on Sept. 25.
The delegation led by Vice Standing Chairman of Hue city’s VFF Committee Lê Viết Hiền visited and presented the Mid-Autumn festival gifts to orphans and children with disabilities in three religious centers, namely Son Ca Centre, Nguyet Bieu orphanage and Long Tho school for children with disabilities.
At Son Ca Centre, its director Sr. Chantal Vũ Thị Thọ shared that the Catholic centre currently takes care of 53 orphans and children with disabilities from one to 22 years old.
Nguyet Bieu orphanage run by the Hue city’s Congregation of Lovers of the Holy Cross is home to 49 children with disabilities, including 36 orphans and 18 cerebral palsy children.
At Long Tho school for children with disabilities operated by Buddhist Nuns, Nun Thích nữ Thoại Nghiêm stated that the school currently has 64 orphans from 5 to 32 years old.
