The People's Committee of Hue city held a conference to review the implementation of the patriotic emulation movement in the period 2010-2014 on January 15.
At the ceremony, the city People's Committee highlighted achievements of typical individuals and groups in the patriotic movement (period: 2010-2014) towards socio-economic development and national security-defense in the locality.
Accordingly, 12 groups and 29 individuals were praised by the Council on Emulation and Rewards. Religious dignitaries applauded at the conference included Venerable Thích Huệ Phước, member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council cum Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien Hue provincial VBS Executive Committee; Sister Vũ Thị Thọ, Director of Son Ca Centre and Mr. Nguyễn Đình Lục, Chairman of the Parish Council of Phu Cam Cathedral.
