The Central Highlands Steering Committee worked with media agencies to honor the prestigious ethnic people and religious dignitaries of the Central Highlands region on March 4 in Buon Me Thuot city, Đắk Lắk province.
This was part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of the Buon Me Thuot victory, the liberation of Đắk Lắk province and the 5th Buon Me Thuot coffee festival.
According to the Deputy Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee Trần Việt Hùng, the Committee will meet with more than 100 outstanding representatives from ethnic minority groups such as Ede, Nung, Tay, Ma, B’râu… and 43 religious dignitaries. The meeting aimed to honor those people for their great contribution to economic development and the national defense of the region.
