HCM City People’s Council holds meeting with religious voters

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council held on January 20 the first meeting with dignitaries and deacons of religious organizations in the locality.

The meeting was chaired by Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council Nguyễn Thị Quyết Tâm and attended by religious voters who are dignitaries and deacons of religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Islam, etc in the city.

The meeting aimed to collect opinions and recommendations from religious dignitaries and deacons in the city.

The meeting gathered 29 opinions from religious participants on numbers of issues including the process of granting the land use right certificate and construction permit for religious establishments, improvements in the education, health, traffic jam, water system, urban planning, etc.

Acknowledging voters’ opinions, Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Quyết Tâm stated that municipal People’s Council would send their comments to competent authorities of the city as well as check the feedback and solving of issues raised by religious voters.
