Major General Director of Hanoi Police Đoàn Duy Khương led a delegation to visit Hanoi city Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) office on May 10, on occasion of Buddha’s birthday Festival 2016 – B.E 2560.
Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council cum Chairman of Hanoi city VBS Executive Committee Thích Bảo Nghiêm welcomed the delegation.
On behalf of Hanoi Police, Major General Đoàn Duy Khương extended best wishes to Buddhist’ dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers on the occasion of the Buddha’s birthday anniversary 2016. He also took the chance to thank the city VBS for its close coordination in ensuring security and safety in the city over the past years. He urged Buddhist dignitaries to encourage followers to conduct religious activities in accordance with religious Charters and the State laws and make practical contributions to the development of the city.
