On June 4, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong city People’s Committee chaired a conference to honor outstanding religious dignitaries for their contributions to the social charity in 2014 and 2015.
During 5 years (from 2010 to 2015), the religious organizations and individuals conducted charitable activities for the poor worth nearly VND21 billion, over 112 tons of rice, and presented five charity houses… On Lunar New Year festival 2015, they raised more than VND2 billion for social charities.
On this occasion, the city People’s Committee awarded Certificate of merit to religious dignitaries for their outstanding contributions to social charitable activities in 2014 and 2015.
