Government Religious Committee reviews ten-year implementation of Prime Minister Directive on Protestantism in Central region

The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Central Highlands Steering Committee reviewed ten-year implementation of Directive 01/2005/CT-TTg on some tasks regarding Protestantism in the Central Highlands, Binh Phuoc province and six Central Coast provinces of Quang Tri, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa at a meeting held on July 6 in Buon Ma Thuot city.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman of the Central Highlands Steering Committee Trần Việt Hùng, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Bùi Thanh Hà and Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Lê Bá Trình.
The meeting reviewed the situation of Protestantism and the implementation of state administration in the Central Highlands and neighbouring provinces in the past ten years implementing the Prime Minister Directive, focusing on the achievements and shortcomings, and recommended the upcoming tasks on Protestantism in accordance with characteristics of the Central Highlands and other provinces.
On this occasion, the Central Highlands Steering Committee presented a certificate of merit to 12 collective units and 18 individuals for outstanding achievements in ten-year implementation of Directive 01/2005/CT-TTg on some tasks regarding Protestantism.
