A “Good religion, good life” model for encouraging Catholic women to practically contribute to the socio-economic development has been effectively promoted in Quang Binh province’s Ba Don district.
This kind of the model has been successfully developed by the district women’s union in communes and wards of Thanh Tan, Quang Phong, Quang Tien, Quang Loc and Quang Minh in the district.
Most recently, one more model of “Good religion, good life” has been launched in Quang Son commune’s Tan Son village – an entire Catholic community and joint by 70 Catholic women members in the village. During the launching ceremony, the women union in the district presented 200 breeding chickens worth over VND 3 million for each disadvantaged members to improve their family economy.
