Gia Lai provincial Religious Committee organizes religious laws training to followers of religions

On Sept. 18, Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held a disseminating course on religious laws for about 190 dignitaries, deacons, clergymen and clergywomen from five religions in the locality.
At the training course, the participants from Catholicism, Buddhism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Bahai’i listened to Director of Legislation and Inspection Department under the GCRA Nguyễn Khắc Huy disseminating basic contents of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, Decree No.92/2012/NĐ-CP dated 11/8/2012 of the Government detailing and providing measures for implementation of the Ordinance on Belief and Religion, as well as administrative procedures involved in the State management on religious affairs.

Speaking at the event, Director of the Home Affairs Department Huỳnh Văn Tâm encouraged local religious dignitaries, deacons, clergymen and clergywomen to promote their roles in guiding followers to conduct religious practices in accordance with the State’s law and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements for local development and national unity.
