Gia Lai province disseminates religious laws to Protestant deacons

On June 24-25, Gia Lai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Department of National Resources and Environment held in Pleiku city a conference for disseminating religious laws for over 100 personnel from local Protestant executive Boards in the locality.

At the disseminating conference, participants learnt about Party’s policies and State’s laws on religion and religion-related land, religious situation and the State administration on religions in Gia Lai province.

Currently, Gia Lai province is home to five operative religions, namely Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Baha’i. For recent years, Gia Lai provincial authorities have created favorable conditions for religious activities by religious organizations; religious dignitaries and followers have stayed closely attached to and  accompany with local people in socio-economic development in the province.
