Fostering knowledge of security and defense training for monks at Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy

From July 29th to August 1st, the Security and Defense Education Council of Can Tho city disseminated knowledge of security and defense for 120 monks at the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy
The training contents focused on guidelines and policies of the Vietnam’ Party and State on religion; responsibility of dignitaries and religious organizations in building national security and defense; prevention of plots abusing religion to sow division in the national unity bloc; promotion of the movement “the entire population protect the national security”; and introduction of the laws on Defense, National Security, Land, Military Service, Militia... The training course aimed at raising awareness and responsibility of the dignitaries and building national unity making contribution to stability, political security and social order./.
