Former Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee Lê Bá Trình extended a visit to Phat Quang Charity Center located in Kien Giang province’s Rach Gia city on June 14.
His visit was joint by participants of a seminar for promoting the Buddhist role in social charities held in the province.
During the visit, Mr. Lê Bá Trình and visitors had an exchange with Phat Quang Charity Center’s management board, as well as presented gifts to children living in the center.
According to Senior Venerable Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s Central Executive Council cum Vice Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in Kien Giang province Thích Minh Nhẫn, the charity center established in 2002 is now taking care of 113 children with different ages.
