It’s reported at the meeting that the implementation of the resolution in ten years brought positive changes to the understanding of religions and state religious affairs by local people, agencies and communities.

Currently, Sa Dec city has 55 worshiping places, 321 religious dignitaries and deacons, over 14,000 followers, accounting for 9,3% of the city population. All religious organizations well observed religious charters, policies and laws of the Party and State on religion, actively took part in local programs and movements for socio – economic development. Social and charitable activities of religious organizations and individuals brought practical contributions to the communities.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the city Party Committee Lê Hồng Tho praised contributions made by agencies and local authorities in bringing the Party’s Resolution 25 into the real life, contributing to create trust between people and local authorities. He urged local authorities to enhance the national unity bloc, raise efficiency in religious affairs, and promptly address religious needs by individuals or organizations, contributing to better care for the spiritual life of religious followers in the city.
